Originally owned by John Hill of Bucks Chase, Gwynn’s Island in the 1850's, this gun is on loan to the Museum by relatives of the Hill family, Mr. Edward Mallonee & son Ed. Jr. of Baltimore, Md.

to the Museum.  ALL roads lead to the Museum. Take Rte. 223 at Donk's Theater in Hudgins,VA. Cross over the Gwynn's Island Bridge at Cricket Hill. You are now on Old Ferry Road.  Follow the road through the Gwynn's Island Cemetery, look for the RUDDER & the MUSEUM SIGN on your left and you're here.
Hours: 1 - 5pm,  Fri., Sat. &  Sun. April through October.
Tours can be arranged year round for groups of 8 or more by
appointment. Call 804-725-7949
